All the highlights of St. Lucia in a day. Get to know the island's distinctive features, the twin volcanic plugs known as the Pitons, visit the Botanical Gardens, then go for a rainforest drive and take a swim in Margot Bay.
What to Expect
Take a tour of south St. Lucia, along the Caribbean coastal route past the Pitons, the twin volcanic plugs that rise from the island. You will travel by way of Castries to Mainroad Anse, an old fishing village with historic Caribbean wooden houses. On the way you will stop in several other places: in Morne Fortune, at a viewpoint in Anse La Reye and at the Canaries viewpoint, in order to see the breathtaking landscapes, and of course, to take some souvenir photos.
In addition, you will drive through the tropical rainforest, where the oldest plants in the history of life on this planet are to be found, and to Soufriere Bay – a real wonder.
Wander through the botanical gardens and discover the many-sided, wondrous world of the plants on hard-surfaced paths, leading to a beautiful waterfall. Visit an original Kassava bakery on your way back before stopping for a 1-hour swimming break near your cruise ship.
