What to Expect
Take an exciting 4-hour tour with a wheelchair accessible tour bus. You will be picked up either at your hotel in the north or from your cruise ship. Passing the capital Castries you reach the old fishing village of Anse La Raye. Along the way you will have some time while taking a little rest on a hill to enjoy the view of the mountains and the rainforest of St. Lucia. You will also visit a banana plantation. Here you will be taught how to grow bananas and it is also here where you will get an answer for the well-known question: "Why is the banana bent?"
In the fishing village of Anse La Raye you have a short stay to experience the Caribbean way of life by yourself. On your way back to Castries you stop in Marigot Bay, one of the most photographed Movie Bays of the Caribbean. You will also stop at a view point where you have a wonderful view of the beautiful harbor of Castries.
From Castries, you set off for the final leg of your tour, to Pigeon Point. Here you can enjoy an exceptional view of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. In good weather conditions even the neighboring island of Martinique can be spotted. After the excursion you will be brought back to your hotel or your cruise ship.
