Day 5 (Sunday): Porto – Vila Real Today you will leave the capital of the north and head to the green province of Minho, where you will explore the region of Vinho Verde (green wine). The tour lasts about 1h30 minutes and starts with the pick-up at the meeting point, next to Castelo Branco Tourism Office or, your accomodation. Throughout the tour we pass through the 16th century gates, we talk about the Jewish presence and the influence of the Templar Order. Learn about the history of Castelo Branco embroidery at C I Bordado and walk through the Bishops' gardens in the Jardim do Paço Episcopal / Parque da Cidade. Towards the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, there will be a stop with a privileged view of the Castle. We descend towards the City Park and climb to the highest point of Castelo Branco where you can visit the Castle and be dazzled by a 360º view over the city. Return to the meeting point.

The tour lasts approximately 4h30 and starts with a pick-up at the meeting point, next to the Castelo Branco Tourist Office. Departure from Castelo Branco to the Schist Village of Foz do Cobrão, where there will be a stop at the Portas do Almourão viewpoint. Then, it's time to climb to the highest point of Vila Velha de Ródão, where you can visit the Castle of King Wamba and marvel at the view over the Tagus River. Go to a Olive Mill Museum, where you will learn about the process that olives goes through until arriving in the form of a bottle of olive oil at our table. Head towards the pier, where you can explore the Enxarrique Archaeological Station and enjoy the boat ride, which lasts approximately 1 hour. Return to the meeting point.
