  • Cassis: Calanques National Park Sea Kayaking Tour

    1. Cassis: Calanques National Park Sea Kayaking Tour

Discover the exceptional natural beauty of Calanques National Park on this sea kayaking experience from Cassis. With a guide, explore the coastal landscapes of Cassis while practicing a water sport activity suitable for all. Learn about the unique ecosystem of the national park and the history of the local area. Kayak along the coast, past Port Miou, Port Pin, En Vau and Essaïdon, with breathtaking views of the Calanques National Park in the background.

The local operator needs to get more manpower to transport the kayaks from the trailer to the water and back. Otherwise, lady guide was lovely. She was left alone with the guests to haul the kayaks. Not good.

  • Calanques Cassis Hike: Port-Miou, Port-Pin & En-Vau

    2. Calanques Cassis Hike: Port-Miou, Port-Pin & En-Vau

Embark on a 6 km hike departing from Cassis. Cross the creeks of Port-Miou, Port-Pin, and one of the most famous, En-Vau. Discover sensational landscapes as you trek along the crystalline waters that meander like fjords. Start by exploring the 1400m long Calanque of Port-Miou that houses a marina and conceals a rich heritage. Learn about a former site of exploitation of a limestone quarry and an underground river. Along the coast, continue until you reach the cove of Port-Pin, marking the entrance to Marseille. Discover a winding cove home to a pretty pebble cove with turquoise waters which you can, if you wish, taste the freshness of its waters during a break. Start to gain a little altitude, which will gradually take you up to 90m above sea level, to the En-Vau belvedere, revealing its beach in reverse, low and buried between the high cliffs.
