I usually prefer DIY tours but a lot of people recommend taking a tour when in Morocco. I was lucky to be assigned to chaffeur Mr. Minhaj and Fez guide Mr. Idrissi. Both were very professional and I felt very taken care of the entire time - from opening and holding the car door open to taking photos to always checking up on me/the entire group. They took us to the most interesting places in Fez and also asked if there’s any place/activity we’d like to skip or give more time to. Best part was they didn’t force the group to buy anything from the shops and made sure no one was pressured. Highly recommended if you want to have the best time in Fez. 💯 Tip: If you don’t get any confirmation message a day before your trip, reach out to the tour group to have them check and confirm your tour. They’re responsive and helpful.

Transportation was excellent. Very comfortable seats, climate control and even Wi-Fi. The tour guide was knowledgeable but he was always walking super fast and my only complaint is that he took us to many shops to sell us very expensive stuff. I believe that if we stopped at at least one or two regular shops, everyone would have been very happy. The lunch and the location were perfect…

Full description

Meet your chauffeur at your hotel lobby in Casablanca to begin your tour of Fez/Fes. Make your way first to the University of Kairaouine, the oldest university in the world, located in the heart of the medina. During your tour, enjoy a panoramic view of Fes, the gateway to the Royal Palace, and other schools such as the Madrasa Bouanania and the Madrasa Al-Attarine. Then, visit the fountain of Nejjar tannery, the Mellah or Jewish Quarter, and the 17th-century Ibn Danan Synagogue. While touring inside the medina, you'll make a stop for lunch. Once you finish exploring the medina, your guide will escort you to meet your driver again for departure at around 4:30 PM for Casablanca. The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel. If you want, you can also simply stay in Fez at the end of the tour.
