Casablanca: Central Market Food Tour with Tastings and Lunch

We enjoyed our walking and food tour of Casablanca very much. Achraf, who was born and raised in the Old Medina of Casablanca, was an amzing guide! He combined his official tourism guide credentials with his lived experience as a lifelong resident of Casablanca to provide a lively insider's guide to the city's vibrant history and culture. We were treated to delicious food and drinks throughout - the fruit cocktail and avocado smoothies were a fantastic start to our 3-hour foodie experience. Later we tried the most delectable fresh oysters shucked by a cheerful vendor at the Central Market, where we shopped for fresh seafood that we brought to a nearby eatery to be cooked. Our seafood lunch feast of sea bass, sardines, shrimps and calamari (served with delicious side dishes of eggplants, Moroccan salad, olives, and fresh bread) was absolutely spectacular! We later stopped at a café for tea and dessert of delicious pastries that we bought earlier during our walk. Truly wonderful!

Excellent guide by Achraf who is very knowledgeable with his history of Casablanca. The food tour was outstanding as we selected our fish in the Central Market, he had arranged a restaurant to cook our food. Highly recommend to tour for all.
