Your experience begins as you are welcomed to Morgado do Quintão for a walk around the estate to observe the vineyards. This will also include a brief introduction to the local grape varieties. Following that, enjoy a tour of the grounds throughout a wine-tasting experience that explores the history of the estate, as well as the terroir-driven wines. You will also learn of the estate's plans for the future as they continue to create Algarve’s landmark wines. Your guides will also tell you all about Algarve’s local grape varieties as you enjoy a tasting 3-4 of their wines. As you sample the wines you can learn about how they're made, as well as how to best pair them with food.

Take a full-day trip around the best of the east of Portugal. Benefit from pickup from your hotel, transportation around the historic sights, and take time to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere. Begin your day with convenient pickup before heading to Faro. Admire the capital of the Algarve as you tour the historic 13th-century city center. Next, move on to the Moorish fishing town of Olhão. Stroll around its bustling streets or shop for local products in its traditional markets. Continue your tour to Tavirna. Explore a town of cobbled streets, picturesque churches, and visit its Roman Bridge. Climb up to its castle and photograph the views from its observation point. Take advantage of some free time for lunch in one of its many restaurants (own expense). Conclude your tour with stops at Villa Real de Sto- Antonio and Cacel Velha. Discover a village where the Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic Ocean. Finally, head back on the bus for the return journey and drop-off at your accommodation.

The Silves area in particular is known for its sweet, fine-skinned, aromatic and incredibly juicy oranges. The tour starts in the town of Silves, the heart of orange country in the Algarve. Visit the farmers market and take time to wander by the Arade river and enjoy pretty views of the Roman bridge and the red-hued town. Next, enjoy a guided tour to one of the largest orange orchards in the region, where you can learn about the whole process and the different species that are grown so that oranges can be enjoyed all year round. You even get to pluck an orange straight from the tree and savour it right there in the open air. The tour ends as you are served a delicious, naturally sweet, vitamin-C-packed glass of just-squeezed orange juice.

After pickup from your accommodation, board a classic Volkswagen T2 for a 4 to 5-hour flavor tour and get ready to see and taste the Algarve in a unique way.
