Our guides were amazing and the tour was great. Value for money for sure! We saw several sloths and birds, learned about plants, and in addition how the agricultural use of pesti- and biocides directly affects nature e.g. coals. The guide's were very knowledgeable and their level of english, made it possible to ask all kinds of questions about Costa rica, the culture and the people living here, and receiving elaborate answers. I did this as my last tour after being in Costa Rica for approximately 3,5 weeks, and will recommend anyone else having a few hours to spare to do so. There are additional tours offered by Oropopo, if I had time I would check these out as well.

My family and I got to Ondina Cafe early so that we could eat lunch and it was a laid back place with good food. We enjoyed our walking tour with our guide Raquel immensely. She was friendly and so informative. We could tell that she loved her job. We were all excited to see the hanging nests of the Montezuma Oropendela. And we got really lucky and found a sloth sleeping in a tree close to the walking path. Raquel also did an excellent job getting pictures of birds and sloths with the telescope. This tour was exactly what we were looking for!

The tour provided a much closer look at the wildlife than some of my other tours in Costa Rica. The sloths and birds are clearly used to the campus environment and therefore easier to photograph. The guides were really friendly and very knowledgeable.
