Getting to see the bioluminescent algae was amazing! The guides were super helpful, explaining to us why the algae glow and why they're so prominent in this area. For us, getting a tour that picked us up and dropped us back off in San Juan was super convenient. Would have been nice if they could've picked us up in Old San Juan, rather than at an area out by the beach resorts, since our hotel was in the old city, but they at least were willing to drop us off back in Old San Juan at the end of the night.
The bioluminescent bay was amazing and the guides were nice and helpful.

Full description
Upon arriving in Fajardo, you’ll meet your knowledgeable guides, who will provide a short orientation and safety briefing to ensure a fun and secure experience. You’ll then set off on your kayak, gliding through a calm mangrove forest water trail, surrounded by Puerto Rico’s lush natural scenery.
As night falls, you'll paddle toward the famous Bioluminescent Bay. The magical moment happens when the bay's bioluminescent organisms may light up the water with each movement. While bioluminescence intensity can vary depending on factors like the moon and weather, the sight of the glowing waters offers a breathtaking experience.
After exploring the bay, you’ll paddle back through the tranquil mangroves under the stars. Your tour concludes with return transportation to your starting point, making for a seamless and hassle-free experience.
This tour is open to all skill levels, and the expert guides are there to assist throughout the adventure. Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothing and water shoes for the best experience!
