This was a truly life changing experience. I have never challenged myself so much physically. Although it was not an easy journey at all it was worth it! The guides Freddy, Brian, and Alex went above and beyond to help us, take care of us, and teach us about El Yunque. The views are breathtaking and the natural water experiences are amazing and exhilarating. Make sure to come prepared with proper water shoes as it gets really slippery and you need something with a good grip. Also there are lots of rocks and pebbles that are painful to walk on but that’s unavoidable. Be prepared to get very dirty and muddy from your hands down to your feet and be sore the next day.
