This was a really good first day in Nairobi. I was picked up at my hotel by George and we went straight away to the giraffe center. George made sure that I had the best experience I could while feeding the giraffes. And, for an extra bonus there was a baby (1 month old) giraffe there! From there we went to the Nairobi National Park and to the elephant orphanage. Again, George made sure that I had a good spot to see the elephants and they even came close enough for me to touch, There were a total of 21 orphaned elephants and even an orphaned black rhino. Finally was lunch at Carnivore restaurant which was everything that I'd heard about it. All in all this was a great first day in Nairobi.

These elephants are so cute. You arrive and line up around an gated area for the elephants to come out in two groups. The trainers move the elephants to certain areas so everyone has a good view and potential to touch the animals. You are there for about an hour as they feed the elephants. It was time well spent. Then you head to the giraffe center. Another wonderful opportunity to see the animals up close. The center gives you a bowl of food and the giraffes come right up to you. Then lunch at carnivore restaurant. It was a great day.

My driver and guide Edwin was very nice to my wife and I and the hospitality was top notch. Showed us major parts of the city and explained the rich culture in Kenya. I’ll highly recommend this tour package. Worth every penny.

Overall great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable also helped us find some spots to hang out at night. I would recommend.
