The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel and head on the Panamerican Highway to the citadel of Caral. During the trip, you will be served some fruits, cookies, and drinks on board for you to enjoy. Since it's a long drive and a private tour, stops are available during the tour. Before arriving in Caral, admire the beautiful landscapes of the Supe Valley, that is famous for the cultivation of products like avocados, potatoes, onions, strawberries, maracuyas, chili pepper and many more. Begin the day with pickup from the main hotels in the city at 6:00 am, and head north until reaching the archaeological site where the ruins of the sacred city of Caral remain. Marvel at pyramids, temples, and astronomical centers more than five thousand years old, part of one of the first cities of the Americas. Learn about Caral, located in the Supe Valley, which is the cradle of the Andean civilization and is considered the third oldest place with human settlement in the world, behind Mesopotamia and Egypt. The first Oldest Civilization in America is located about 200 km north of Lima. Where, we will know the beginnings of the development of Peru about 5000 years ago. Headquarters of the first Andean civilization that forged the foundations of its own unique social organization, which along with Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China and Mesoamerica are the original centers of culture in the world.
