What People Are Saying About Capri

Well organised with good time management.

We enjoyed trip as family. It was well organised and the guide were extremely helpful both Sasha and Claudia. Money well spent.
Capri One Day Trip From Rome Reviewed by Golam, 08/06/2016

Our absolute favorite tour of our Italy vacation.

This is the best way to see all the grottos surrounding Capri. Our captain (Jacob) was simply the best and took the boat into the grotto so close that wecould touch the stone. It was my husband's birthday and the guide had champagne and everyone sang "happy birthday". We would highly recommend this 8 hour tour and rate it a "10"!

Great value for money for an intimate boat trip

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. There was ample enough time in Capri itself then there followed a boat tour of the island with the chance to have a dip. The lady accompanying the captain was really engaging and let us know exactly what we were looking at. The only thing that could have done with better organisation was the transport back. We were waiting around for a good 40 minutes for other boats to arrive and then they were arranging the who goes with who. My husband ended up being perched on the end of a seat as there had been a miscalculation and then the driver nearly drove past our hotel. One other thing to mention is that you have to arrange a separate trip to the blue grotto if you want to go. Overall really enjoyed it though, much better than getting the ferry over!

Nice tour to Capri with friendly tour guides

The tour was well organized and a local tour guide showed us some nice places on Capri. Unfortunately the pick-up service is not available for all hotels in Rome. When we arrived on Capri we had some time to discover the village of Anacapri on our own. Afterwards we met again to have lunch in a local restaurant. The quality of the food was poor though. After lunch we split up in groups. Those who wanted to see the blue grotto or the ship tour around the island went to the harbour and the others could discover the village of Capri on their own. Unfortunately the local tour guide was not as helpful as we expected since he came not with us to show us Capri. But all in all it was a nice trip.

Good familiarisation with plenty of independent time to explore

I took the option to meet the guide in Capri and pay for my own transport to Capri. I arrived early and the meeting spot is Il gabbiano bar at pier 23. I had tea and breakfast here and I highly recommend to do this if you arrive early into Capri and wait out the crowds from the ferry going up the funicular/cruise to grotto or meeting your tour. The guide was prompt and drove us up to anacapri where I had free time and the guide recommended places to see/things to do. Next was Capri centre. I didn't have lunch included but chose to head to a lovely cafe in Capri centre for lunch before joining the guide back to the harbour. the guide kindly called his contact and reserved me a ticket for the return trip back to Naples as it can get full. I'm glad I saw Capri with the guide as he was very helpful in providing guidance on where to go and what to see to maximise my time there and of course get me back to Naples. Very helpful.
