Full description

Embark on a boat tour around the turquoise waters and scenic coastline of Capri. Listen as the captain gives background information on each point of interest. Enjoy free time at the Blue Grotto, where you can rent a rowboat and be carried through a stone portal into a sparkling cavern lit by blue light.

Start the tour from Marina Grande and pass by highlights such as the Faraglioni Rocks. Visit the sea caves around the island. Then, make a stop at the Blue Grotto where an optional entry ticket can be purchased on the spot. Once the captain drops anchor at the Blue Grotto, you can disembark the boat and transfer to a wooden rowboat to visit the caves. After exploring the area, hop back on the boat to continue the tour, before returning to Marina Grande.

The tour is a good choice to see Capri and its surroundings from the sea; It is not a short walk so it is quite enjoyable. The only "negative" thing is that the guide sometimes forgot to say in Spanish some of the explanations of the area we were passing through or about how to get to the island, where to take the funicular or bus? how to access the blue grotto, waiting times, etc., if you don't know English and you don't understand Italian you will be a bit confused.

Disappointing that we didn’t get the option to go into the blue grotto. It wasn’t open when we arrived even though it was before noon. Makes me wonder how often anyone from this tour actually does get to enter the blue grotto from these boats. My guess is probably never.

Very good. We arrived at the port to the place that indicated the confirmation of the bouchers and they delivered them without problem. Every half hour a boat leaves. So you have enough time to do it. In the blue grotto, (not included in the price. You pay €14 per person. It's worth it) the boat waited for us to enter the grotto. Very good experience. Highly recommended.
