We really enjoyed our hot air ballon ride with the Royal team. From the breakfast in the morning to the amazing flight and views, finishing with chocolate strawberries and drinks - it was well worth getting up at 3.30am for! It wouldn’t have been the same without our pilot and host Ahmet who was brilliant throughout the trip, chatting and educating us on the balloon, the terrain and the weather, all the while skilfully guiding us through the air amongst hundreds of other balloons. Definitely a bucket list experience - thank you Ahmet and team!

We had a wonderful time. Our pilot, Tank, was amazing. We spoke to him a couple of days before our flight and he talked us through the process of what happens if flights are cancelled by the aviation authorities due to inclement weather. On the balloon ride itself, Tank took us through some amazing parts of Cappadocia, giving us informative commentary throughout the ride. The views were spectacular, particularly as we were navigating through the valleys. Would highly recommend Royal Balloons and Tank; their professionalism and focus on safety was reassuring.

Full description

The Royal King Flight experience begins as you are transferred from your hotel to our headquarters via luxury minibus. Then, enjoy a delicious fully-catered open buffet breakfast while the pilot checks weather conditions and chooses a proper launch site. Once the site is selected, you can watch as the crew and pilot unload, assemble and inflate the balloon.

Your pilot will give you a fully comprehensive pre-flight briefing covering basic rules and safety measures for the balloon flight. Then, climb into the basket and experience the highlight of your trip to Cappadocia. Your professional and safe journey over the stunning hills and valleys of Cappadocia lasts about 75 minutes. These balloons are exclusively made by Lindstrand Balloons and are the only silver coated balloons in the region to ensure the highest degree of quality and safety.

The balloons will climb approximately 300 meters (1000 feet) during the flight. A panoramic and marvelous view will greet you, as you drift above the valleys and between rock formations, gently drifting with the wind. The flight presents many photo opportunities and memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Wonderful and highly recommended! They were on time and everything was great: pick up in our hotel, breakfast, flight, champagne celebration, drop off in the hotel. We did the King Royal flight with less people, and we were very happy to have a unique experience and compartment during our flight. Our pilot Ömür was amazing! He explained us the procedure and he was very experienced and save pilot during the flight. Thank you Royal Ballons for the great once in a lifetime experience!
