- The first hour we were picking up people and waiting in the van, no explanations as to what for because they didn’t speak English. - then the flight seemed to be cancelled due to bad weather, but no one could tell us anything, and then they brought us back to the town, and parked, then no explanations again and then they took us to another location for the balloon as the wind changed. We were puzzled for long as no one could give an explanation of what was happening, they should keep the people updated!

The pilot was good, and the other staff were helpful and friendly. It was a good experience. However, I booked the experience for 4:00am, then got a message that we will be picked up at 4:55, but had to wait until 5:30 to be picked up. We were also expecting to fly over Goreme and fly with the rest of the hot air balloons but our balloon went to a different route. Seeing the valleys and canyons was still a pleasant experience though, but it was good to know it beforehand.

Great experience. Good communications from the team! The whole thing felt professional and safe. I can not explain how magical the actual experience it’s self is. Watching the balloon being filled and seeing others take flight around you. Mounting the basket, the moment it lifts off and you join 99 other balloons floating in the air!! The views are other worldly, no other experience is as magical!! Remember to pack warm clothes, you start before the sun is up and there is a bit of standing around at the start while the balloon is filled!!
