Costa Nova We'll then leave Aveiro and head towards Costa Nova, one of Portugal's most spectacular beaches, known for the iconic striped houses that line the bay. Capelha do Senhor da Pedra This picturesque 17th century chapel is located on the rocks of the beach of the same name in Vila Nova de Gaia. Its privileged location on the granite makes it stand defiantly in front of the Atlantic despite not reaching 10 metres in height. Built on a hexagonal plan in 1686 in a place of pagan cults, it stands out for its main altar with Baroque carvings and the two side altarpieces that surround the crucified Christ. The access stairway is 150 metres from the promenade, so it is necessary to cross the sand and stones to reach it. This means that, at high tide, it is impossible to walk to it as it is surrounded by the sea. It promises to be an unforgettable experience, book now!

Right next to these wonderful spots you'll find the upper deck of the Luíz I Bridge, where you can capture the breathtaking view over the Douro. We continue slowly, always with our eyes on the river, to the ruins of the cod factory, where we can appreciate the beauty of the landscape and the imposing sea. Calmly we make our way to the Chapel of Senhor da Pedra, located in Valadares, where we can see a unique construction built into a rock. Afterwards, we head to the Douro Marina, where we'll begin the second part of your visit, which is no less fun. The tour starts at the Douro Marina in beautiful Afurada and takes you to the historic area of Porto, sailing under the Dom Luís I Bridge and past the famous Port wine cellars. The cruise offers a unique perspective of the city, with its colorful houses, historic churches and the city's most important bridges: Ponte da Arrábida and Ponte Luiz I. Afterwards, we make our way calmly back to the starting point at the Marina, enjoying another drink and with the certainty that you've experienced four incredible hours with our team and crew. This tour aims to offer a combined experience between the two cities that the Douro River divides: Porto and Gaia. So, we begin this adventure by picking up our clients at a meeting point in a vintage vehicle, a wonderful 1968 Volkswagen, fully recovered, named “Maria”, through the best spots in Gaia, highlighting Jardim do Morro, Serra do Pilar, the top deck of the Luiz I Bridge, going down to the Port wine cellar area on the riverside of Gaia. Always aligned along the banks of the River, we continue to the sea, next to the beaches of Gaia where we will make a short stop at the imposing Capela do Senhor da Pedra built on a rock next to the sea. We will toast with Port wine this time. Meanwhile, we return to Marina da Afurada to continue our underwater experience along the majestic Douro River, where we will calmly sail to the historic area of the city of Porto, seeing some of the main tourist attractions such as Ponte Luiz I, Muralha da Sé, Ribeira do Porto , the Clérigos Tower among others. Our crew will share some city stories with you. At this time we will serve a distinct welcome drink and some snacks. Also take advantage of this moment to photograph the surrounding landscape.
