From start to finish it was a great day , we were originally booked for the Saturday day after our arrival but due to bad weather conditions our hosts Ivanhoe Sea safaris, Gansbaai, contacted us to move our trip keeping us informed at all times. Our pick up was outside our Hotel and our driver was superb, Jean was very knowledgeable, telling us so much information, trip through the mountains breathtaking. He drove us through Hermanus,what a fantastic place , so beautiful. The crew on the boat were fabulous they really want to ensure you get what you booked , and they delivered we saw mothers wither young , one even came so close to the boat made us jump, and we even witnessed another young whale breaching. This is now ticked off my bucket list. Left us wanting to see more . Highly recommend.

Tyrone our driver was very friendly and knowledgable enough, considering he just started providing tours in the past year. His car is also super clean and comfortable. He brought us to scenic places that most tourists don't visit. The whale watching trip itself was wonderful. We were able to spot >10 southern whales, a humpback whale, >100 school of dolphins hunting anchovies, and lots of playful seals, all within 2 hours. Totally worth it if you are at the right season as it can not be guaranteed you will spot these wildlife animals.
