Nice wine yards! I was a bit disappointed by the fact that only half of the route was with the train, and the rest with bus. The part of the route that was with the train, was a lot back and forth, not a round. And even on the tram stops, we had to use bus/cars from the stops to get to the wine yards.

This tran takes you through a good selection of vineyards of different size and selection. The scenery is magnificent and absolutely breathtaking! The easy transport to and back allows you to enjoy the wines to the fullest, have some culinary delights and buy unique bottles to bring them home. We absolutely loved this tour and it was an ultimate favourite for both of us! On your way to the tram they explain interesting facts about South Africa and the Western Cape region. This is incredible value for your money!

We had an excellent day, visiting 6 vineyards. We started the day with a wine and fudge pairing tasting (yum!) and a gin tasting, and ended the day at Boschendal with a premium wine tasting, and a wine and chocolate pairing tasting (even more yum!)! Would 100% recommend this, the artisanal chocolates were incredible with the wine. We mostly had the estate(cheaper) wines and would recommend spending a bit more for the premium wines, as we found out at Boschendal, this does make quite a difference!
