I had an incredible time on this three-region wine tasting tour! The experience was excellent value for money, and everything was well-organized from start to finish. Our guide, Charles, was not only knowledgeable but also funny and engaging, making the day both entertaining and informative. He kept the group on track while ensuring we had a fantastic time. A special shoutout to our driver, Andrew, who went above and beyond to keep us comfortable—he even made sure the windows and blinds were closed when we left the bus so it stayed cool for our return. Such a thoughtful touch! The wineries were fantastic, each offering delicious wines and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, well-organized, and insightful wine tasting experience near Cape Town!

Full description

Discover 3 wine regions of South Africa on a guided tour from Cape Town. Explore the renowned wine regions of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl with stops at 3 top estates, with 15 wine tastings included throughout the day. Start with pickup from one of the convenient pickup points in Cape Town and travel first to the Stellenbosch wine region. Upon arrival at the first wine estate, be treated to a selection of cheeses and snacks. Then embark on a tour of the cellar, followed by a wine-tasting session. From there head into Stellenbosch for a walk around the historic town before we head over the Helshoogte Mountain pass into the Franschhoek valley. Stop at the second winery of the day and enjoy a selection of wines with fantastic views of the village of Franschhoek. Enjoy a photo stop at the Drakenstein Prison, where Mandela was released from. Head to Paarl for an afternoon wine tasting featuring a selection of sweet and decadent wines. Relax under the trees and enjoy the views of the vineyards before heading back to Cape Town.

Great tour for people who don’t have a car in Capetown, good way to see different vineyards. You have some time in the vineyards, but not a lot, so if you want to spend time, it might not be the best for you. I still enjoyed! Nice pairing with chocolate at the last vineyard, very good :)
