Full description

Join a 90-minute sunset cruise from Cape Town and watch the Atlantic Ocean stretching away from the Table Mountain range as the sun goes down. Watch the sea while sipping on local sparkling wine. After the cruise, enjoy a 3-course meal at a sea-facing restaurant. The sailboats Esperance and Serenity One follow the wind for this cruise, and therefore the destination is dependent on the weather at the time of the cruise. Your captain will let you know before departure your expected direction, but typical Cape Town summer wind blows from the southeast.

First, leave the harbor and sail across Table Bay towards Milnerton Lighthouse, returning to the protection of Granger Bay in the lee of Table Mountain to watch the sunset, and then motor back to the waterfront.

After building an appetite at sea, you then have a short stroll through the waterfront to the restaurant where you can enjoy your meal.

Enjoy local fare at the City Grill, featuring exquisite panoramic views of the harbor and Table Mountain.

Possible Weather Variations:

During inclement weather, when the seas are running too high, or the wind is too strong, the tour destination will be Cape Town Harbour instead of Table Bay. You will be able to enjoy a Harbour Lights Cruise.

This cruise offers a perfect alternative offering magical views of Table Mountain and the lights of Cape Town and the harbor in the evening. In extreme conditions, the skipper will take every aspect into account, and may cancel the tour to ensure the safety of the passengers.

This trip was inclusive with people from all race, ethnicity and age. It was good to see everyone joining in and dancing together. It was lively and fun. The sparkling wine was okay and we had several top ups. The sea was choppy and some adventurous people ventured out on the deck. Not for me though, I preferred a calmer sea. My husband enjoyed the trip especially when the boat climb out on the big waves and plunge down the other side. It was evident that the skipper was experienced and knew his stuff. The food at the restaurant was great. It was a limited menu for the 3 course meal. Steak was succulent and the black mussels was enjoyable.

The sunset champagne cruise was an amazing experience with the process being absolutely efficient from the obtaining of boarding pass and the cruise with very friendly staff .the price included 2 glasses of champagne but my wife and I got 3 glasses of champagne..with good music and excellent views of Capetown coast line and the amazing sunset on our return we had an excellent 3 course meal at City Grill.. excellent food and great service.. M y score is 9 out of 10.. must do as part of your list when In cape town. Two Oceans aquarium...process was easy with getyourguide app... Used barcodes from my phone and all was excellent .enjoyed the wonderful creatures in the aquarium. I am impressed with Getyourguide .quick turnaround time with regards to my refund on the cancellation of seal snorkeling at hout bay due to poor weather conditions.

It was quite a windy and bumpy ride due to that, however it was fun! loved the music that was playing, plus the champagne, and sunset of course. (#1 tip, take your motion sickness pills if you are prone to seasickness so your experience isn't ruined!). We ate at Sevruga for the 3-course meal part and that was great. The mussel starter was delicious, I immediately wanted more of that sauce. The sirloin for the main was underwhelming, next time I would opt for the gnocchi dish my friend had. The creme brule was stunning, whereas the chocolate dessert was quite overwhelming, there should have been more than one scoop of ice cream to balance it out. Overall, I had a fun time and would do it again.
