I did a solo trip to cage dive with sharks and after several email inquiries to many companies, Marine Dynamics worked through everything with me. I had a very short time frame, the driver was excellent, knowledgeable and went way out of the way to get me. Once we arrived at "The Shark House" we had a light breakfast, went over what to expect and onto the boat. The boat crew was amazing. They were funny, knowledgeable and seemed to care greatly about the longterm health of the sharks. We spent a good amount of time in the water. I got great photos and video. When we came back into the boat we had a warm water rinse waiting for us and hot chocolate. There were snack on the boat too. When we headed back to "The Shark House" they jad warm soup to wrap up the day. If you are considering Shark cage diving, Marine Dynamics is THE BEST!

Very well organised with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Definitely worth the journey from Cape Town. Attended the day with my 2 grownup children who also rated the day/experience as one to remember and also thoroughly enjoyed the day. Would highly recommend!

You get picked up very early (5:15 am) to drive to Gaansbai, where you get a quick breakfast and an introduction to the upcoming trip. Then you board the boat and after ca. 25 min arrive at the anchor point. On board you change into the diving suits and then the first group of people go into the cage. Water was very cold and you don’t see very far. What you see in the end depends very much on your luck: for me personally, it was a rather disappointing experience though others on the same trip did get to see more sharks. If you don’t mind this „gamble“ I‘d recommend going.
