Stop for a delicious a la carte lunch with vegetarian options. Visit a small family -run Winery with the locals showing off great wines. Immerse yourself in the fascinating story of the region with a local guide. Travel along Cape Town's high roads and back roads tasting and learning about South Africa’s bubbly Cap Classique, heady ports, sweet dessert wines, and plenty of red and white wines.

First let me say Im not even a fan of wine, but my wife is so I enjoy going with her and will usually just sample a few and listen to the tour guides. On this trip I not only drank every wine, still not a huge fan, but our guide Donavan was fabulous! When he picked us up I was expecting him to just be our driver but he knew everything about wine, where we were headed, what we would expereince as well as history of each location and the wine presence in South Africa as well dating back to the 1600's. He was phenomenally paired, no pun intended for this tour!!! The price was also more then fair for what we got, other places would have easily charged twice what we paid. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyued our tour and day with Donavan.

It’s Started off with picking up everyone. Then we went out to the wine country. Our guide and driver, Donovan, was a lovely chap with a great sense of humor and a lot of knowledge. We went first to “Fairview” vineyard. It was great. a tour of the facility to see how the wine is produced. Then Cheeses and cheese one pairings. Delicious. Then we drove to Eikehof, a small family run business. It was very nice. After that we went to “La Pommerie”; a divine vineyard and we served a huge lunch of giant proportions in addition to to the wines and chocolates we were given. We were so full, yet had one more to visit. “L’avenir”, a gorgeous place with some excellent wines; their pointage is brilliant. All in all a very lovely day with a great guide and so much wine. Kudos to you !!
