Discover the highlights of the Cape Peninsula on a private trip from Cape Town. Enjoy optional activities like an ostrich farm visit, wine tasting, and a cruise to Seal Island.

Following pickup directly from your address in Cape Town, meet your personal guide for the day. If this is your first time in Cape Town, start with a 30-minute city orientation tour before heading out to explore the Cape Peninsula. Travel along the Atlantic seaboard, driving between the mountains and the ocean, and pass through Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, and Chapman's Peak. Make a photo stop at Maiden's Cove, then stop in Hout Bay where you will have the option of taking a boat to Seal Island.

For lunch, you can choose to have fresh seafood at one of the harbor eateries or enjoy a light meal at Noordhoek village, where you can try the best coffee this side of the Cape at Roast Village (food and drink costs not included).   Next, set off for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the Cape Point Lighthouse, a popular stop for photographs. See the Dias and da Gama monuments and discover local fauna and flora. You may also encounter some baboons and other wildlife. 

Enjoy an optional wine tasting of the region’s best Sauvignon Blanc at Cape Point Vineyard or a stop at the Cape Point ostrich farm. Continue to Simon’s Town to see the monument of the Great Dane dog who made his own history in the South African Navy.

Visit Boulder's Beach and see the penguin colony. Return to Cape Town and pass through Fish Hoek and Muizenburg via the Old Cape Road. Before drop-off, make an optional stop at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens if time allows.

This was an amazing trip. Alex was a great guide and did the tour in both French and English for our mixed speaking group. The scenery is out of this world and the wildlife incredible. The van was comfortable for the 6 of us and we were able to spread out. Even though we had heavy rain and strong wind on and off during the day, the tour was still 100% worth it.

What a fantastic day! Wonderful way to experience all of the cape peninsula. We had a private guide who we met in Camps Bay, we then went to seal island which was well worth the trip even though it was a bit of a rough day in the boat. The penguins were a highlight for me, you get really close and they are such fun to watch. Lunch was all arranged in the restaurant at boulders beach which was great! Cape point and cape of good hope also included and we had some great photo opportunities. Would definitely recommend!
