Full description

Head southeast from Cape Town via Sir Lowry’s Pass to Cape Overberg – a region of rugged mountain ranges and picturesque vistas. The 9-hour tour continues through the citrus orchards of the Overberg. Stop for refreshments at a farm stand before reaching Caledon, established in the 18th century to cater for visitors seeking healing at the nearby hot springs. In Bredasdorp, you'll visit the Shipwreck Museum, home to a collection of shipwreck artifacts, and a treasure house of figureheads, porcelain, and lots more. See the Cape Agulhas lighthouse, located about one kilometer from the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet.

I didn't feel like driving from Cape Town to Cape Aghulas and I really enjoyed the tour, the guide, Marc, has been great, kept on giving information, explaining about places and he drove the minibus very well. We didn't visit the shipwreck museum but stopped in Hermanus that is a wonderful and quite town. I only have to remark that I wasn't staying in the city hotels in Cape Town (where pick up is included) it hasn't been easy to understand the pick up point that eventually was in front of the V&A Hotel. I had to phone to know it, it'd been better if it were more clear. In any case 5 star as I really wanted to get to the southernmost tip of Africa.

Amazing tour with a very friendly knowledgeable and experienced driver. I got to see amazing places on this day trip, especially Agulhas and its Lighthouse, and also some nice spots and wonderful landscape on the way. After a late lunch break in Hermanus we headed back to Cape Town where I was dropped at my accomodation Egon is a wonderful guide, and we had interesting conversations, pick up and drop off and all driving was great. I would definitely book them again

This was a really good tour. Our guide Letitsia was very friendly and funny. She was also very knowledgeable. The first stop at the penguins was really good. There were so many of them. The stop at Hermanus was also great. We spotted whales and had a nice light lunch and beer watching them. The trip to Cape Agulhas was long but worth it. It was quite quiet when we were there so managed to get good pictures of the southern tip without much of a wait. The lighthouse was also worth the visit. I would highly recommend this tour.
