What to Expect
This 5 to 10 day multi sports tour contains a combination of hiking, kayaking, walking and cycling (swimming is optional).

Hike part of the Hoerikwaggo Trail along Table Mountain; kayak among the penguins of Boulders Beach near Simons Town; stroll through the historic town of Stellenbosh; cycle the famous Franschhoek pass- at the end of each day you can relax in luxury five star accommodations.

Day 1
We will follow the footsteps of the Bushmen, on this prehistoric trail through the spectacular Table Mountain National Park.

Day 2
On the second day we will cross Constantiaberg before descending towards Hout Bay. At the Silvermine tented camp a leading astronomer will talk to you about the Southern Skies. The day will end with a gourmet dinner.

Day 3
The day starts with a climb up Noordhoek Peak and then Chapman’s Peak. The top of Chapman’s peak has magnificent views of the sea, the mountain range, the coastal wetlands and the pristine beaches. We will hike along the beach to Slangkop tented camp while our Maritime historian tells us fascinating stories about the Cape of Good Hope.

Day 4
After a delicious breakfast in Simon's Town, we will kayak past the Naval Harbour and out to Boulder's Beach. After visiting a penguin colony, we will stop at a lovely semi-private beach for refreshments, swimming and snorkeling.

We will gather in Kalk Bay for fresh fish and salad, white wine, and dessert before cycling to Chapman's Peak.

We will spend a relaxing night at the five star guest lodge Tintswalo Atlantic.

Day 5
After breakfast we will leave travel to Stellenbosch in the heart of the Cape Winelands. We will enjoy a guided walk through the historic town, taking in prestigious Cape Dutch buildings, some of South Africa's oldest churches, a vibrant collection of markets, museums and antique shops.

Lunch is followed by an afternoon of cycling and wine tasting.

In the evening we check into the Devon Valley Hotel, hidden away in a lush and peaceful corner of the Winelands.

Day 6
After a spectacular buffet breakfast we leave for Franschhoek (French Corner). The valley was originally settled in 1688 by French Huguenots, many of whom were given land by the Dutch government.

Set against the backdrop of the Franschhoek and the Drakenstein mountains, this quaint village has over 30 world-class wine farms and is renowned for its gourmet cuisine. We will Cycle down the Franschhoek Pass, taking in sweeping views of the entire valley before sampling a selection of sumptuous wines.

We will spend the night in the heart of the village at the five star Relais & Chateax auberge, Le Quartier Francais. A fabulous eight course food and wine pairing extravaganza will complete an unforgettable day.

Day 7
On day seven we will travel to Bonnievale, a welcoming town on the banks of the Breede River. The day will consist of a full day of cycling, wine and cheese tasting and a visit to the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.

Day 8
After a traditional breakfast we will leave for a hike to discover the isolated vistas and beauty of Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.

After lunch, we step back in time to visit Bushmen rock art sites in the reserve. The San people roamed the area for thousands of years, living a nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Rock art sites date back more than 3500 years and depict the spiritual beliefs and lives of these fascinating people. San people would congregate around a communal fire, weaving stories and celebrating the gift of life.

In the evening we will return to the lodge for a scrumptious meal, and more informative conversations about the Khoisan.

Day 9 and 10

After a final early morning game drive, we will drive back to Cape Town to check into the stunning Cape Grace Hotel.

This luxury 5-star boutique hotel is in the heart of cosmopolitan Cape Town, and in walking distance of all the main theatres, art galleries, shops and restaurants.
