What to Expect
Leave Cape Town and make your way along the West Coast and its quaint fishing villages, windswept beaches and rugged shoreline! This region has yet to be swamped by tourists and still exudes an off the beaten track air.

Transfer to Buffelsfontein Game Reserve, a private reserve where you will explore an exclusive cycle route through the wilderness with an armed ranger and back-up vehicle! You may get up close to a variety of antelope and plains game, including zebra, giraffe, oryx, wildebeest, kudu, eland, springbok and you can visit the cheetah and lion enclosures to marvel at these mighty cats!

Next on the itinerary is the stunning West Coast National Park, a haven of biodiversity in the region with white sand beaches and shimmering coves leading into deep blue ocean and spectacular bird life including flamingos, pelicans, osprey, sandpipers, and many other wetland species. During spring (August - October), the park bursts into a kaleidoscope of color with fields of flowers and sweet smelling succulents and flora year-round.

Continue along the West Coast visiting a Rooibos tea plantation at the foot of the majestic Cederberg Mountains, and observing traditional rock art by the San Bushmen who were the first inhabitants of the Cape. Cycle through stunning mountain roads of the Cederberg, past small farming communities, orchards and the Karukareb Wilderness Reserve.

Slowly return to the coast, taking in the quaint fishing village of Paternoster and riding alongside the Atlantic Ocean to Tittiesbaai Nature Reserve, home to the Cape Columbine lighthouse. Sample the very best West Coast seafood and South African wines en route. Finally, return to Cape Town after the trip of a lifetime!
