Chris, the guide for the two-day tour from Cape Town to the safari reserve, was excellent. He was both a good and responsible driver and provided historical and local knowledge in a clear and interesting way, and was open to additional questions. Regarding the tour program, my feeling was that it was a shame to be so short on time, in such a beautiful place, but it was better than nothing if you don't have more time to spend on safari. The guide on the safari was also excellent, providing interesting and clear information and allowing time to stay and observe. I enjoyed The only problem is that it is not an easy financial expense.every moment.

We absolutely loved our safari experience! The food was excellent, the scenery was stunning, and everything was so well organized. We booked the 2-day package but quickly wished we had stayed longer. If we could do it again, we’d definitely go for 3 or 4 days to enjoy the beautiful facilities (like the pool and game room) and to have more time to see more animals. Highly recommended!

Full description

Get the chance to see lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and more on a 2-day safari tour from Cape Town. Enjoy 2 game drives and an overnight stay with included dinner and breakfast.

On the first day, depart Cape Town and drive along the scenic coastal road to Cape Agulhas via Hermanus, the whale watching capital of the world. Make a stop at the southernmost tip of Africa to admire the beautiful lighthouse.

Continue on to Garden Route Game Lodge. Here, embark on a sunset safari in an open-air vehicle. Observe a variety of native animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, and more.

After the safari, settle in for a three-course dinner. Spend the night in one of the beautiful 4-star wooden chalets or Lodge room as allocated and admire the clear skies over the lodge.

In the morning, head out for another game drive to see some of the animals you might have missed the evening before. After your drive, tuck into breakfast. Make your way back to Cape Town in the evening.

First class 2 day trip providing good accommodation and excellent viewing of wildlife. Nervous about length of drive but this was made into a plus rather than negative by our super guide who provided lots of stops and visits to places of interest. Overall a great oversight into South Africa.
