Also, discover Cap Canaille, one of the highest maritime cliffs in Europe, to overlook the whole region! This experience is sporty but you will be assisted by the powerful engine of our e-bikes.

There are some places you can’t help falling in love with at first sight and Cassis is one of them! Your afternoon excursion to Cassis begins in Marseille where you meet your friendly tour guide. Set off for an unforgettable visit and take in the panoramic view from the Cape Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe (photo stop) as you go. Arriving in Cassis, free time to walk around the old fishing port, with all its colourful boats. Possibility to have lunch or swimming/sun-bathing). You will have the possibility to embark on a 1 hour cruise from Cassis to discover the calanques, limestone cliffs which dive into the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean sea and create natural coves (fat, rocky claws that resemble Norwegian fjords and poke out into the sea) (the cruise ticket is not included). You will be in Aix en Provence for the rest of the excursion. Stroll on the famous Cours Mirabeau dotted with refreshing fountains. Admire the private mansions from 17th and 18th centuries. Free time before to drive back to Marseille. The Cassis Vineyard was among the very first Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée in 1936. Taste local wines and learn about the winery and the wine making process of this very popular wine. Although the whites – dry and fruity – are the most renowned, the reds and rosés are also well known. After the wine tasting session, relax with drop-off in the city center of Aix-en-Provence.

Enjoy a photo stop in Bonnieux, followed by a visit to the colorful village of Roussillon, where the houses are painted with ochre. Stroll in the medieval village of Gordes, a scenic village perched on a steep hilltop. Afterward, be returned to the city center of Aix-en-Provence.

The Gineste and the Crests roads will lead you to the outstanding site of Cape Canaille from where you will appreciate the exceptional view of the bay of Cassis. Cassis is an ancient fishing port and the harbor is probably the most beautiful part of the village. You will have the possibility to board on a 1h boat trip (ticket not included) to discover 3 Calanques, steep-walled coves with tiny harbors or beaches at the end. Take some free time for lunch during the day. Panoramic tour of the city of Marseille on the way back, including a photo stop at Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica. From this hill, enjoy a breathtaking view of the Phocaean city, the Frioul islands, and If Castle. Drive on the Corniche Road, a sign of wealth for merchants and bourgeois from the 19th century who built magnificent houses with many ostentatious splendid features.
