It was an incredibly beautiful experience. Everything was just perfect. Our guide picked us up in the neighboring town of our hotel (Paguera). We drove with him across the island to Cala Romantica. There we met the other members of our "family". After a short instruction, we all received a backpack with water shoes, a wetsuit and a helmet and hiked about 2.6 km through the national park to the beautiful bay. There we dressed for cave diving and received a lamp that was attached to our helmets. We had the choice of swimming 300m to the cave or jumping into the water from the cliff (3.6m or 4.4m) and only swimming another 200m. To get into the caves you had to dive briefly. The real adventure only began now. Our guide Patrick led us through the caves, explained a lot and infected us with his enthusiasm. We will never forget this experience!
Everything about the trip.. from start to finish.. was excellent. Patrick is a fantastic guide and even though the water levels were high and a storm began to roll in he kept us assured and safe from start to end. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a bit of adventure on their hols.
The trip was absolutely amazing. Short nice walk to the cliffs and a special experience in the caves. Special thanks to our guide Patrick. He was an awesome guide with a perfekt mix of knowledge and fun. Thanks Patrick for having this experience with you.
