Enjoy a full-day tour to a spectacular winter wonderland. Discover the unique landscapes of eternal snow and varying glaciers, and experience an unforgettable adventure. Departing from Zurich, take a bus ride over the Albis Pass and along the shores of the magnificent Lake Lucerne on the way to the city of Lucerne. Once there, take a short tour of the city's most important sights, including a photo stop at the famous Lion Monument or Vierwaldstätter Lake, depending on traffic. Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore the city on your own. From Lucerne, you continue on the tour by driving to Engelberg. The breathtaking ride up into the high alpine glaciers of Mount Titlis begins here. From the Rotair revolving cable car on your way up to the mountain, you'll get spectacular views of the deep crevasses in the glaciers, and the immense chunks of ice that break off in spectacular fashion. Take your chance to enjoy fantastic views over the Swiss Alps from the Panorama Restaurant on top of Mount Titlis. Visit the Ice Grotto, or take the Ice Flyer chairlift to get up close to the spectacular glaciers at an altitude of over 9,800 feet (3,000 meters). Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube. The choice is yours!

A scenic coach journey from Zürich takes you through a beautiful countryside and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to the charming town of Lucerne. On an introductory city tour, your guide points out the most eminent landmarks like the Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the Concert & Congress Hall. Enjoy some leisure time to explore the Old Town, before you continue to Engelberg. A breath-taking journey with the aerial cable car takes you to the middle-station “Trübsee” where your snow adventure starts. Slide down the hill on snow tubes and try skiing on the beginner slopes – definitely a once-in-a-lifetime-experience you shouldn't miss. A Titlis Snow Park staff member provides the equipment and supervises the activities. Finish your adventure by taking the Rotair revolving cable car to the top of Mt. Titlis, located at 3'000 meters above sea level. From the sun terrace, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Swiss Alps and take some photos as a souvenir for those back home. In the late afternoon, descent with the aerial cable car and drive back to Zürich by coach.

Enjoy the panoramic views from Zurich to Lucerne along Lake Lucerne. You'll also get to visit the beautiful city of Lucerne. After 1 hour of free time to explore, the trip continues on to Engelberg. Check out Engelberg's stunning Baroque monastery. Built by Benedictine monks in 1120, there are still over 30 monks living and working in the monastery which dominates the town. Spend the next 3 hours strolling through the village and visit the Swiss cheese factory to experience first-hand how the famous cheese is made.  Alternatively, you can hike on the breathtaking trails around the village and enjoy views of the magnificent landscape.

On this full-day tour you will discover the magnificent Mount Stanserhorn in the heart of the stunning Swiss countryside. From Zürich you will be taken on a scenic coach journey to Lucerne through the beautiful countryside via the Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake Lucerne. On a short tour of the city you will take a photo stop at the Lion Monument or Lake Lucerne (depending on traffic conditions) and see the main sights of this charming town. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the Old Town before continuing on to Stans, where you will board the vintage funicular train for an unforgettable ride through blooming meadows to the valley station of the world’s first CabriO cable car. This latest master piece of Swiss engineering is a unique open top aerial cable car which takes you up to Mount Stanserhorn (6,230 feet/1,900 meters). The unimpaired view from the roofless upper deck of the gondola is truly memorable. On the top of the mountain, a magnificent panoramic view over ten lakes, 100 kilometers of the Alpine mountain range and three countries awaits you. Take the short hike to the peak and visit the marmot park to watch these cute animals play, and have the option of sampling a typically Swiss dish in the revolving Rondorama restaurant. After descending to Stans, you will take the public train back to Lucerne for some additional time in this lovely city before taking the coach back to Zurich in the evening.

Start your day of adventure by meeting your friendly and informative guide at your hotel in Zürich. After a short meet and greet you will head with your guide to the closest train station, first stop, Lucerne.   Upon arrival in Lucerne, you will accompany your tour guide onto a boat. From here, setting off from the wharf, you will partake in a 1-hour boat cruise around Lake Lucerne, a truly scenic introduction to this magical city. Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and the unique view of the city from the water. After your boat cruise, you will arrive in Alpnachstad where you will board the cogwheel railway. The Pilatus railway operates from May until October (depending on weather conditions, especially snow) and is the world's steepest cogwheel railway. This 35-minute journey will see you traveling 464-meters above sea level to the top of Mt. Pilatus, where panoramic views await you.  Upon arrival at the top, you will be guided on a walking trip through the rock formation where you will see hidden military artifacts. Alternatively, you can climb up the stairs to the panoramic platform and enjoy the scenery around you. Your tour guide will take you through the gallery of the dragons and explain some of Pilatus' folklore. After your sightseeing tour, you will have the chance to enjoy your lunch in one of two restaurants. You will spend the remaining time in this location with the freedom to do as you please before you descend back to town. Before you leave Lucerne, you will also take a gondola ride down to Fräkmüntegg where you will soar above the trees and meadows to the suburb of Kriens. After this, you will catch transport back to your original starting destination.

Let your guide show you the stunning landscape and answer your questions about the country and its people. Head to the massive multi-peaked Mount Pilatus which looms over Lucerne. Take a lake boat from Luzern across to Alpnachstad. Next, hop aboard the Pilatus Railway, the world's steepest cogwheel railway which is in operation from May to November. Go back down on the aerial cableways from Kriens which operate all year round. Snap pictures of the panoramic views from the cableways. Return to Luzern by bus.

An intercity train will take you in 50 minutes to Lucerne, where you will change to a local train.  After 45 minutes of travel time, you will arrive at Engelberg, a small village at the end of the valley known for its winter tourism industry. Your guide will then lead you to the gondola station, which is 10 mins away from the train station.  To climb uphill, you will first board a 6-seat gondola, which takes you on a beautiful 20 minute ride to the middle station "Stand". You will glide above meadows, trees, and rocks that make up this silent and beautiful landscape. At "Stand" you will change onto the rotating gondola, which takes you on a quick 5 minute journey to your final destination. During the ride, the gondola rotates by 360 degrees to ensure a fantastic aerial view.  Once at the top, your tour guide will take you to visit the terraces, 9,980 feet above sea level, where all year there is snow. Enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. After the terraces, you will visit the highest suspension bridge in Europe, 100 meters long and 1640 feet off the ground. On the other side, the entrance to the ice cave awaits you, an intricate tunnel system in the middle of the glacier.  When you return to the main building, have lunch in the panoramic restaurant. Enjoy local dishes while taking in views of the surrounding mountains. After lunch it's up to you: enjoy the silence on the terraces, or have same action in the snow, taking a seated chair lift to the snow park. When you have seen all the attractions, your guide will lead you back to Zürich via Engelberg, where the tour will end. 

Be collected from your accommodation by your tour guide and make your way to the train station in Basel. An intercity train will take you in 50 minutes to Lucern, where you will board a local train. After 45 minutes you will arrive at Engelberg, which is a small village at the end of the valley, known for the winter tourism industry. Your tour guide will lead you to the gondola station, which is 10 minutes away from the train. To get up the hill, you will board a 6 seat gondola, which will take you through 2 sections to the middle station, Stand. You will glide above meadows, trees, and rocks in a peaceful and beautiful landscape. At Stand, you will change to the rotating gondola, which takes you to your final destination in 5 minutes. During the journey, the gondola rotates by 360 degrees to ensure a fantastic aerial view.  Once you arrive at the top, your tour guide will suggest beginning your sightseeing tour at the terraces, where there is always snow at 9980 foot above sea level. Enjoy the fantastical aerial view to the surrounding mountains and glaciers. After the terraces, you will visit the highest suspension bridge in Europe. Cross the 100-meter long bridge, which is 1640 foot high. On the other side is the entrance to the ice vace, a tunnel system in the middle of the glacier.  Return to the main building and take the opportunity to have lunch in the panoramic restaurant. Enjoy local dishes while looking at the surrounding mountains. After lunch you can choose to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on the terraces or take a seated chair lift to the snow park, where you will have different options to enjoy the snow. Once you have seen all of the attractions, your tour guide will lead you via Engelberg back to Basel, where your tour will end.

An intercity train will take you in 1 hour to central Lucerne, where you'll board a boat for a 1-hour cruise on Lake Lucerne. Enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains and and the waterfront of the city.  Arrive in Alpnachstad, where you'll switch to the cogwheel railway. The Pilatus railway operates between May and October and is the world's steepest cogwheel railway. The 35-minute journey takes you from 464 meters above sea level to the top of Mount Pilatus, at 2128 meters above sea level. At the top, your tour guide will show you some hidden military objects. Alternatively, you can climb up the stairs to the panoramic platform and enjoy the vast scenery. Your tour guide will take you through the gallery of dragons and tell you a myth about Mount Pilatus.  After the sightseeing tour, enjoy lunch in one of the two restaurants, where your tour guide will happily join you. Afterwards, take some free time to spend as you wish before you begin your descent. A panoramic gondola will take you down to Fräkmüntegg, where you will change to the 4-seat gondola. This section takes you above trees and meadows and down to the suburb Kriens. Head back to central Lucerne for your return trip back to Basel on an intercity train. Once back in Basel, your tour guide will accompany you to your accommodation.
