Full description
Meet your guide at the Kananaskis Visitor Information Centre and complete a quick orientation session before starting your hike through Kananaskis Country. Your journey through the region will begin with a convoy to the trailhead. Once at the trailhead, you’ll follow one of five hiking trails. As you venture through Kananaskis Country, you’ll have the chance to see stunning views of the Canadian Rockies and learn about bear awareness. Along the way, there will be a rest stop for you to relax and enjoy lunch at the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. Once you’ve finished lunch, the hike will continue before looping back to the starting point of the trailhead, where the tour will come to an end. This hike is a great opportunity to experience the unique flora, geography, and geology of Alberta.
