We had a really nice day with Charlotte. Thanks to the good weather, we had a perfect view of the great panoramic views of this wonderful landscape, mountains and the sea. Charlotte was very good at explaining the topographical conditions as well as the flora and fauna in an understanding manner. This (in our opinion) moderately difficult hike offers really great views. Our highlight was climbing the summit (optional, only if you wanted) towards the end of the route and a great swim in the crystal clear sea.

Charlotte was a great guide and gave us great information and adjusted the pace well to the age of some of the older group members. It was very interesting and 'slightly' strenuous for normally fit people. The tour along the cliffs was manageable for people with a relatively good head for heights. The sudden rain wasn't so nice, but it wasn't a problem. Conclusion: Gladly again

Charlotte was a great guide (and a very impressive polyglot!) Great hike - you start in Machico and walk along some gorgeous terrain and end in Porto Da Cruz. If you consider yourself to be moderately fit, this should be an easy hike! (The beginning 0.5km or so is the most challenging part, otherwise there is a steep descent into Porto Da Cruz)

I really enjoyed the day, breathtaking scenery, friendly company and Charlotte was an excellent host, I would highly recommend this to anybody visiting the island.

It was such a fabulous day with Charlotte. All the tours and hikes I did with Lido company were fantastic. Very organized .
