Wonderful experience. Surprisingly spent a good amount of time swimming with the turtles, also got to see stingrays. The cenote experience was also very memorable, we got lucky and went at a time where we had them completely to ourselves, these cenote’s are way cooler than a fully open one. The organisation was excellent and our tour guide Francisco was the best! My boyfriend developed a man crush.

Come and snorkel with sea turtles in the second-largest coral reef in the world. Snorkel in a naturally protected area, Akumal, which is Mayan for place of the Turtles. Akumal is a cozy little beach community located 75 miles (120 km) south of Cancun along Mexico’s Caribbean Coast. The protected area of Akumal is home to many animals like marine turtles. The marine turtles come near the beach of Akumal and you will get the chance to see them up close. Enjoy the crystal clear waters of a cenote, a natural swimming hole. These natural swimming pools form when limestone bedrock crumbles away, revealing pristine streams beneath. Itinerary: 7:00 AM Latest pick-up at your hotel in Cancun (8:00 Playa del Carmen and 08:45 Tulum). 9:00 AM Snorkel in Akumal, a natural protected area, and enjoy the sea turtle observation with an explanation from your guide. 10:45 AM We will have snacks at the cenote, such as peanuts, granola bars, fruit, water, juice & sodas. 11:00 AM Snorkeling in one of the best cenotes in the Riviera Maya 12:00 PM Transfer back to your hotel. 2:00 PM Arrival at your hotel in Cancun (1:00 PM Playa del Carmen).

I actually didn’t go on the tour that I paid for. I spent several hrs looking for a tour to Akumal with Cenote Azul I was so excited to find that you had a tour that I was interested in. I had prepaid 2 wks in advance and when the day came for tour off we went to Akumal which was amazing but after we went to Cenote yaak muul. I was never told of the change or why I wasn’t being taken to Cenote Azul. I asked driver and he never had heard anything about Cenote Azul. So needless to say I was very disappointed that I was not able to go.
