Cancun: Snorkeling Tour at MUSA The Underwater Museum

The guides were knowledgeble and the activity was well planned and fun. We got to see a bunch of interesting things, and the sculptures at musa are visible even from 7 meters up when snorkelling. They also made sure the safety of the participants was a priority. The best advise i can give is to book, if possible, on a day with calmer waters, as snorkeling or diving would be a lot smoother and enjoyable

Great value for money and an amazing experience all-round. The staff were very professional and I felt I was in good hands the entire time. The boat had both tourists doing snorkelling and those doing the scuba dive activity. It was great to be able to see some of the divers during the activity. The underwater museum was so interesting and I saw lots of fish (including a huge barracuda). We went to the underwater museum and then later we went to a natural coral reef. The staff were great in reiterating the fact that we need to respect the area (no standing or touching the coral/fish). Water was offered to us regularly as well as coca cola and biscuits between the two snorkelling activities. Each snorkelling activity lasted around 45 minutes. Highly recommend! I would advise bringing some kind of wetsuit as you're not allowed to put sun cream on so it's very easy to burn your back/backs of legs. I would also recommend a Gopro or a waterproof camera case as the view was amazing!

Super activité ! Les guides vous informent très bien et sont là en cas de besoin. Il y a effectivement des plongeurs qui sont avec vous sur le bateau. Vous devez attendre qu’ils descendent en premier avant de pouvoir descendre a votre tour pour le snorkelling mais ce n’est pas dérangeant sachant qu’eux doivent prendre le temps d’aller dans les profondeurs. Et honnêtement je vous recommande le snorkelling car nous voyons les plongeurs d’en haut et très bien les statues sans avoir tout le stress de la plongée, c’est sûrement payer plus cher pour voir la même chose donc aucun regret !
