Once checked in, we were handed our life jackets, flippers and a brand new snorkel. Masks are issued once you get to the reef. Photos are taken and a safety briefing with full boat driving instructions. Once in the boat our guide Oodie took control of all 5 boats to get us out into the lagoon. This was impressive, watching him hop from boat to boat. Once out on the water it took a few minutes to get used to controlling the boat,but we were soon flashing across the beautiful lagoon. Winding through mangroves and out to sea. The snorkelling experience. Is amazing. Lots of space to explore with only small groups of people. Amazing marine life. I came face to face with a 5ft Barracuda. Our guide showed us the underwster statue and we had plenty of snorkelling time. Then back in the boats for a fun journey back, before some tequila tasting. The team also send a drone out to record video of you driving the little speedboat. I would highly recommend this for an amazing experienc3

Overall the activity was really fun! Our boat had some motor issues so it didn’t go full speed and it was too chilly for us to do the snorkeling. But the boat ride and scenery was really nice! Tour guide was great!

Full description

Explore the colorful marine life and clear blue waters of the Cancun jungle on this guided water adventure. Get your adrenaline pumping on a speedboat ride around Nichupte Lagoon, and slow the pace down with peaceful snorkeling over the underwater statues at the Punta Nizuc coral reef. Get fitted with a lifejacket and snorkeling equipment at the marina before learning how to operate the speedboat safely. Board your two-seater speedboat to explore the Nichupté Lagoon, which is rich in mangrove vegetation. Navigate through the mangrove jungle as your guide points out the most interesting fauna and flora to ensure that you discover all this unique area has to offer. After around 35 minutes, arrive at the Mayan Coral Reef at Punta Nizuc. See some of the Musa statues that form an underwater museum, where you will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel. After 30 minutes, return your speedboat to the marina.
