Begin the day with a drive that stops at an underwater grotto, Cenote Ik Kil. Admire the thread-like green vines cascading into the clear blue waters. Dive into the sacred sinkhole for a swim.

Next, stop for a buffet lunch with fresh salads, soups, rice, chicken, fish, vegetables, and regional dishes. Be treated to a festive show where regional people perform traditional dances to folk music.

Good your overall. I enjoyed it. Includes Cenote and Vallodolid along with Chichen Itza. The guides know good english and are very friendly and informative. The only downside was we were taken to this shop before our lunch for about 30 minutes. They had mayan handmade gifts. They obviously have some kind of deal with them to bring tourists. I didn’t really mind it but it makes a long day even longer. I didn’t particularly enjoy the lunch provided either. It’s a buffet which is good however i noticed some flies hovering on the food they were serving which wasn’t great. I would do it again however… It was a good day out

Informative Comfy bus 4 stops in total lunch, chichen itza, cenote, viollidad The staff did not inform us of Some of the extra charges along the way which we’re required including drinks (water) with our lunch, and life jackets at the cenote. Guides were informative about Mayan culture and chichen itza. Also the fist stop was more about encouraging us to spend money than anything else. Viaollidad was not mentioned in the initial itinerary and it was great to see and get a taste of the marquesitas a dessert made by street vendors like a fruit filled Crispy sweet crepe. We were exhausted by the end of the trip and slept most of the 2 hour bus ride back to our hotel. I’d recommend bringing water maybe a snack, towel and insect repellent.

The Chichen Itza tour was awesome and very informative. Swimming in the cenote was wonderful, but I would have appreciated more information from the guides on cenote history in general and the Ik Kil cenote specifically. But before we even got to the tour, we had a 2-hour lunch experience, which was a tourist trap and waste of time. The shaman ritual and tequila tasting were clearly attempts to get people to spend money in the gift shops. Please cut this part of the tour out or cut it down to 1 hour. Lunch was delicious. Finally, the tour was advertised as English-speaking and the attendees were split about 60% Spanish speaking and 40% English speaking (not sure how many of the Spanish speakers spoke English as well). The guide spoke in Spanish about 70% of the time, only translating half sentences or a few words into English, which made it hard for the English speakers to follow.
