Explore the colorful marine life and clear blue waters of the Cancun jungle on this guided water adventure. Get your adrenaline pumping on a speedboat ride around Nichupte Lagoon, and slow the pace down with peaceful snorkeling over the underwater statues at the Punta Nizuc coral reef.

Get fitted with a lifejacket and snorkeling equipment at the marina before learning how to operate the speedboat safely.  Board your two-seater speedboat to explore the Nichupté Lagoon, which is rich in mangrove vegetation. Navigate through the mangrove jungle as your guide points out the most interesting fauna and flora to ensure that you discover all this unique area has to offer.  After around 35 minutes, arrive at the Mayan Coral Reef at Punta Nizuc. See some of the Musa statues that form an underwater museum, where you will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel. After 30 minutes, return your speedboat to the marina.

Great activity to feel like you’re doing your own thing but with an awesome guide a little distance away to make sure you’re having fun and seeing all over the lagoon. Definitely need to enjoy snorkeling too, we saw lots of fish and our guide made sure we knew where to find them! Great tour without taking up a whole day.

This tour was a blast! I’m an avid snorkeler. I’ve snorkeled throughout the Bahamas, including, Abaco, Eleuthera, and Exuma. I’ve also enjoyed places in Cozumel and Akamal. The boats were great and the snorkeling sports were sill of colorful fish and sea fans. Do yourself, do your loved ones a favor and book this adventure!

It is a very good option! It is very exciting and incidentally it is not so crowded with people, on our trip we were 8 couples (4 boats). The only thing that didn't seem like much to me is that the guide was a bit arrogant and a bit lacking in patience with those who had never driven one of those boats. But otherwise, all very nice.
