José was an excellent host, both entertaining and knowledgeable. He arrived at exactly the time he suggested and then provided us with water and light snacks prior to the walk. Having advised us to bring wet weather clothing (which we didn't), he then handed us ponchos (which we needed). He walked at the pace of the group, wandering back and forth between the tortoises and the hares. He also incorporated plenty of stops en route to explain the history of certain plants, activities and landmarks. Finally, we ended up at Bodega Rubicon winery, sampling a few od the excellent Lanzarote wines, which we never even knew existed prior to this excursion. The entire 5 hour walk was well worth the money and is highly recommended.

This was a very good tour although there could be some improvements. There wasn't enough time given at the Volcano tour so we could visit the souvenir shop which was a shame. The vineyard stop was also too short, it would have been nice to pay a few extra euros to enjoy some proper wine tasting. The Aloe Vera museum is free to get in to anyway and it felt like you had to buy something when there. We really enjoyed the ferry trip to and from Lanzarote.

I had a great tour at the Monje winery. The tour was led by the sixth generation winemakers and he explained everything very well. With here and there a joke and many details. The wines were very nice to drink. I had one white wine and three red. The explanation with each wine was sometimes a bit hard. The English language of the speaker wasn't that well spoken. The cheeses were okay to eat. After that I spent some dimes in the wineshop.

This tour was great, I highly recommend it. Our hotel was on the south of Fuerteventura and it was a bit longer travel to get to Lanzarote and back (the driver picked us up around 5:45 am and we arrived back to hotel around 7:30 pm), but it was really worth it. The excursion was very nice planned, at every stop we had enough time to explore and make some nice pictures and videos. We really enjoyed this tour.

Fantastic guides, really enjoyable experience, i highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of my holiday after a disappointing hotel and in an area very much unsuited to my active and simple lifestyle, so this was a extremely welcome escape and a chance to walk and see the 'real' lanzarote. 5 stars and run by people who REALLY CARE. Do it!
