Cruise along Discovery Passage to the magnificent Toba Inlet and admire the breathtaking panoramic views surrounding you. Disembark the boat and spend 3 hours spotting grizzly bears along the Campbell River, accompanied by the Klahoose First Nation.

Marvel at up-close views of bears frolicking and feeding in the river, along with an array of other wildlife both on land and in the water. Learn interesting facts about the environment from a certified naturalist and captain.

Parking is available in the large gravel lot located off Robert’s Reach Road. This lot is half paid, half free. Please be aware of the signs. Free parking is at the South end closest to the Quadra Island Ferry. Once you arrive, please check in at the Red Float House on Dock E.

Disappointing!! We only saw one bear from a long way off and it was lying down. I know there is no guarantee of sightings when you go wildlife watching but from how the tour is advertised the expectations are different. Also in the park it doesn't seem like they made much effort to look for animals.

It's great, but of course it's also a matter of luck to see grizzlies in the wild. The 3-hour boat ride there is quite an effort 🤷‍♀️
