Continuing our adventure, we travel across the coastal town of Seixal, a hidden treasure with a black volcanic sand beach voted 3erd Best Beach in Europe. Our path then leads us to the secret place of Poças das Lesmas, where time stands still among ancient lava rock formations that emerge against the Atlantic Ocean. Our journey proceeds to Porto Moniz, where natural volcanic pools are waiting for us to immerse yourself in the beauty of this unique place. Immerse yourself in the mysterious Fanal forest, the wild north coast and cool off in the crystal clear waters of Porto Moniz's natural pools. It is with a superb view over the bay of Câmara de Lobos from the Miradouro do Pico da Torre in Camara de Lobos that it all begins. City of poncha, wine and local fish, black scabbard fish, rich in gastronomy and traditions. Heading west, we stop at Cabo Girão to visit one of the highest cliffs in the world, where you can walk on a glass platform 589 meters above the sea. Passing through Ponta de Sol and crossing off-road and agricultural paths, we arrive at a bar to try the famous poncha, in a local and traditional atmosphere. We climb to Paul da Serra at 1400 meters, and head towards Fanal, a mysterious forest with ancient tis that is part of the indigenous Laurissilva forest. Descending along narrow paths and across the terrain, we visited the rocks/islets of Ribeira da Janela and stopped in Porto Moniz for lunch and swimming in the Porto Moniz Natural Pools. In the afternoon we explored the north coast of Seixal to observe the natural beauty of the black sand beach, a fantastic sea and a unique view of the mountains on the north coast. Finally, we head towards São Vicente to enjoy the waterfalls over the sea and we have prepared a small surprise for our customers before returning.

This trail originates in Levada do Norte. The North Levada, as the name suggests, is on the north side of the island and stretches for about 60 km, crossing much of the south coast of the island between Ribeira Brava and Estreito de Câmara de Lobos. The route chosen for our walk is about 7 km long and very accessible. Along this levada, besides the panoramic views over the sea, we see some of the exotic flora of the island such as eucalyptus, acacia, pine trees and many wild flowers and also many "poios" , the name given to the agricultural fields.
