We booked a shared city tour of Cambridge with a family group with ages ranging from 12 to 79. It was the perfect tour for us, a mix of history, fun and interesting anecdotes and information on the collegiate system. It was also a great length - at 1.5 hours it was do-able for all ages. Aside from the stunning backdrop of Cambridge, the highlight was our guide Tayla. New to being a guide, her sheer excitement and pride of being an undergraduate at Cambridge, was infectious and inspiring, particularly to the children. The group was also not too large (I think we had a total of 14) so there was never any problem hearing our guide.

We had a great tour around Cambridge on a sunny Thursday with Olivia (Liv). She took the time to tailor her delivery to our interests and answered all of our questions knowledgeably and with more than enough detail. We learnt an awful lot about Cambridge, the colleges and the history behind it all as well as some rare insight into life as a student here. Would thoroughly recommend both this tour and Liv as a guide to anyone looking or learn more one day.

Our guide, Josh, took us on the walking tour. He was very well informed and knew all about the university, the history of Cambridge and lots more besides. He was entertaining and very interesting. I would recommend Josh to anyone wanting to have an enjoyable and informative tour of Cambridge.
