Tommy our guide was brilliant. Engaging, knowledgeable and incredibly personable. The tour in itself was a wonderful balance between historical and social information, and Tommy brought forth his student knowledge beautifully. We have been on tours before, but to have one from a student brings a different perspective to the whole experience. We would happily recommend the Alumni tour to anyone who asks.

Lots of interesting information about student life here and about the uni, but nothing really about the history of the city. Its just a regular walking tour, without any insight into the actual university buildings, laboratories, chapels and churches. Just walking around the city centre without entering any interesting sights. Overall our guide was very good and we had a great time during this tour. But we were expecting a bit more insight into the workings of the university.

I had Linzhi as my guide and it was a phenomenal experience. She was very knowledgeable, she gave us facts and trivia about each college. I was also lucky to have her because she is an alumni of Queens’ College of Cambridge which allowed us to enter the Queens’ college and walk on the mathematical bridge specially. It was a fantastic experience.
