See Cambridge (MIT, Harvard Square, and Harvard College & University), Cambridge Common (where General Washington assumed command of the Continental Army), Washington's Headquarters, and travel much of the original route to Lexington and Concord. At Lexington Battle Green, see the Buckman Tavern and the iconic Minuteman statue of Captain Parker. Enjoy several scenic stops along Battle Road, maintained by the National Park Service. Pass by Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House, stop at the Concord Museum (admission included), and see original collections of the Colonial Era, Revolution and American Literary Society. Walk the Old North Bridge in Concord (restored); the location of the "Shot Heard 'Round the World"; heralding the beginning of the American War for Independence on April 19, 1775. The pick up easy, as our guide communicated with us prior to being picked up. It was a very informative and interesting experience. Our guide had a wealth of knowledge to share and we were taken to all the relevant sites. We had plenty of time for lunch and there were numerous restroom stops. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Our guide, Richard, was very informative on history in Concord and Lexington and also with lots of information on how and where to go in Boston. He was very friendly, helpful and a good driver in crazy Boston traffic.

The tour covered all of the sites one would expect to see when going to Lexington and Concord. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about Revolutionary War history.
