Go aboard our minivan to the great Tonle Sap Lake (the biggest fresh water lake in South-east Asia) and gain fascinating insight into true Cambodian life. Be picked up from a Siem Reap hotel and be brought to the pier. Take a private boat to the floating village, located outside Siem Reap. Discover the tall, stilted houses, floating hospital, fishery, old lifestyle of the country and the natural landscape of the flooded Mangrove Forest. Enjoy an optional tour going through the flooded Mangroves forest on a small boat, a great break on the way to Tonle Sap to experience local fauna and flora. End the day by admiring the sunset over the lake.

Begin with an early pickup from your hotel at 4.30 AM in an air-conditioned vehicle, and travel to the main entrance of the Angkor Wat to admire the stunning sunrise over this ancient and mysterious complex. Next, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom to marvel at the Bayon and Baphoun temples with their 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara. Listen as your guide explains historical facts about the Temples and the Khmer empire. After lunch, see the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King known as the royal viewing platform and the stage of the king’s great audience hall. Enter Ta Prohm Temple and view the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones. Finally, go to Banteay Kdei temple which was built by the King Jayavarman VII in the late of 12th century before returning to your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 1 – Full Day Banteay Srei Temples and Grand Circuit Temple   Start your 2 days with pick-up from your hotel around 8:00 AM, you’ll head off to visit the most interesting temples outside Angkor Thom city. Your first stop is Pre Rup Hindu Temple, built in 961 or 962, which combines laterite and sandstone construction. Then, drive to the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srei – the detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest and most skilfully crafted in Cambodia.   On the return journey, visit Neak Pean, a Buddhist temple on a circular artificial island within Jayatataka Baray, then continue to Preah Khan temple, a ruined but highly atmospheric mélange of tree roots and crumbling stone structures. Construction was commissioned by the prolific temple builder Jayavarman VII in honor of his father and a visit to this smaller site makes for an interesting contrast with the more imposing Angkor Wat. Preah Khan is currently being restored by the World Monument Fund and in places is in remarkably good condition. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Siem Reap after a memorable day of exploration. Day 2 – Temples of Angkor with Sunrise   Spend your day temple-hopping with your local guide to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, a site full of temples built between the 19th and 13th centuries. Begin with pre-dawn departure (between 4:15 and 4:40 AM) from your hotel to catch the sunrise outside of Angkor Wat. Then, explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough 2 hours discovering its corridors, central chambers, and upper terraces. Your expert guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings and give you insight into life during the height of the Khmer Empire. End your visit to Angkor with breakfast just outside the temple.   Continue the morning with a visit to the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side – gods to the left and demons to the right – and the fortified city of Angkor Thom. See its beautifully crafted central towers, covered in more than 200 enormous faces, before exploring the famous central terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of Elephants. Finish your day with a visit to the temple Ta Prohm, once home to almost 3,000 monks. Return to your hotel at approximately 1:30 PM.  

Looking for an unforgettable culinary experience in Phnom Penh? Our resident local foodie guide will collect you from your hotel in our tuk tuk and whisk you off to our first stop, a Cambodian noodle dish, dating back to the 13th century, served up by third generation local cooks in front of their house. We then take you to a ma and pa shop, streets side to sample 2 of the most quintessential Cambodian Street foods. Moving across the city we swing by for a snack and cold beer at small resto run by a young local couple who made good using social media. Heading down to explore the famous Russian Market Area, we enjoy a guided walk followed by the most delicious, smoky, sticky, sweet pork ribs in the capital. The owner even set up a 'chef's table' for us so we can watch all the action close up. We then head over to our main event at a family run restaurant where we will enjoy a banquet of dishes with locals, enjoying a live local band. Dessert is street side, our grandma and grandpa have been sitting at the same spot every evening for decades packing our succulent, sweet coconut dessert. Finally we head to a hidden garden to enjoy a creative cocktail, inspired by local Cambodian flavors. You can then chose to stay on, get dropped off anywhere in the city or back to your hotel, the night is yours! Come hungry!

Choose between a morning or afternoon 4.5-hour of the Killing Fields and the Security Prison S21. Start with a ride to the Genocide Museum (also known as Prison S21). The prison comprises 4 buildings with exhibitions in several rooms. Prison survivors are sometimes present to talk to visitors and share their experiences. After an hour and 15 minutes at the museum, meet the tour assistant at the main entrance to continue the tour. During a 30-40-minute drive to the Killing Fields, watch a documentary on the Khmer Rouge regime. There will be around 1 hour and 15 minutes to explore the site. 1. The first stop will be at a couple of the most significant sites in Phnom Penh, Wat Phnom and Lady Penh Statue. Before visiting the actual Temple you will see the statue of Lady Penh, who Phnom Penh is named after. Learn her story before taking the steps up to the Wat (Temple). Entry fee: $1pp 2. Wat Onnalom was originally built in 1442 after the capital was founded in 1434 by King Ponhea Yarth. It is one of the most important monasteries in Phnom Penh. Free entry. 3. The National Museum was built in 1920 while Cambodia was a French colony. It is worth visiting, if only from the outside, to admire one of the best examples of traditional Cambodian style building. Free 4. The Royal Palace is most beautiful in the morning with the sun as it faces east. Perfect for photography opportunities. The public park in front is popular with local people to relax and socialise with family and friends. Outside visit only: Free. 5. The Cambodian Vietnam Friendship Monument commemorates the former alliance between the two countries. It is located not far from the Royal Palace in Botum Park. Free. 6. The King Norodom Sihanouk Statue stands impressively on the largest park strip in Phnom Penh. It was built in honour of the King in 2013 after his death the year before. Free. 7. The striking Independence Monument is nearby, representing independence of Cambodia from French colonisation which lasted for 90 years, from 1863 - 1953. It was built in 1958 and completed in 1962. Free 8. The darker and tragic side of Cambodian history takes us to the Genocide Museum. Formally a school, the site became a significant centre of imprisonment and torture during the Khmer Rouges reign. Approximately one and half hours is a suitable time to spend here. An audio guide is included in the entry fee of $10 pp. 9. We make a lunch stop at a local restaurant before heading to the Killing Fields, 45 minutes from the city. This is the second significant historical site of Khmer Rouge Genocide in Phnom Penh. An audio guide is included in the entry fee of $6pp. 10. The Russian Market is a great place to pick up Khmer products for souvenirs, many of which have been sourced from local businesses and organisations. Free. 11. Explore Diamond Island at the end of the tour, the 'Paris of Phnom Penh'. A swamp prior to 2000, it now continues to develop as a satellite city to the main central city of Phnom Penh. Along the way you will see the Patriarch of Monks Statue, the Buddhist Institute, the Cambodian Parliament Building, China Town and other newer developments of the capital. Nearby is the confluent of the Tonle Sap, Upper and Lower Mekong Rivers and Tonle Bassac. You will learn the significance and uniqueness of the rivers that meet here and flow through Cambodia. Free.

For this haf-day tour, the travelers will be picked up directly at the hotel or at the departure point. For the whole the tour, the travelers will be accompanied and escorted in the comfortable van by the tour guide from the hotel or the picking up point plus a very warm welcome and hospitalities by the tour guide. On the way from Phnom Penh to the Killing Field, the tur guide will be doing presentation about Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot as, it takes around 25 minutes and 15 Kilometers. At the Killing Field, the travelers will experience the seeing and getting more deeper understanding about the atrocities committed by Khmer Rouge, like seeing the bones, the rags of bones, the clothes, the rags of clothes, the Killing Trees ( where more than 300 children and babies were slaughtered at the tree, their heads were smashed against that tree), the graves and the mass graves and specially the memorial stupa full of 9000 skulls, classified into sex, age, nationalities and causes of death). Then the travelers are coming back to the city center to visit the Genocide Museum ( S21). At the Museum, the travelers will find out a lot more about that regime and especially the atrocities to the victims at that prison. Even more shocking, the travelers will see the blood, small toilets of the prisoners, rooms, cells, photos ( with sad and hopeless eyes contact and facial expression looking to the travelers). The visitors will even be able to have chance to see the survivors and they will be telling the travelers how they could survive from that brutal prison. It is building by building. Then the tour guide will escort you back directly to the travelers' hotel by the professional driver safe and sound. During the whole tour, travelers can ask any questions and raise any concern.

Phnom Kulen is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia and is of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists. Visit this sacred site and  discover it's beauty. The tour starts with a drive to the foot of the Kulen mountain, the birthplace of the great Khmer Empire in AD 802. Discover the floating village of Kampong Phluk, just a 45-minute drive from Siem Reap. Relax on a trip through authentic Cambodia, past markets in the small town of Roluos.  Enter a sustainable and self-sufficient community that has thrived since the civil war ended. The distinctive houses set among beautiful mangrove trees are raised on stilts reaching up to 9 meters high. In the wet season (May to Feb ), see the locals and able travel by boat to see school, work, and the pagoda as you explore the same way with your small group. On arrival, you will be introduced to a stunning Hindu and Buddhist church, covered in colorful murals that illustrate how the religions coexist in Cambodia. In the dry season, before the water level rises, there's an opportunity to walk along the main street to see local people's daily lives and the creation of new houses. They are content with their way of life and happy to see foreigners because tourism is an important part of the local economy. The majority of the 1,000 families are fishermen and farmers.
