Head to the nearby village of Maras and learn about its history as a center for salt production at the Maras Salt Mines. Admire the unique quilt work of over 3,000 salt ponds spilling into the Sacred Valley. From here, go to Urubamba and enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Continue with a drive along the Urubamba River towards the town of Ollantaytambo to visit the ruins. Marvel at the remarkable Incan architecture built during the Incan Empire's heyday. In addition to the ruins, see an amazing rock formation that represents the Incan god of Wiracocha. After your time at the ruins, choose to return to Cusco with your guide or to stay in Ollantaytambo so you can continue your personal travels to Machu Picchu.

Day 1: Cusco - Lares Hot Springs - Blue Lagoon After being picked up from your hotel around 4:30 AM, you will drive through the beautiful landscape of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the famous Lares thermal baths. Jump into the medicinal pools, all of which are set at different temperatures. The water is great for your bones and muscles, as well as for stress and headaches. The route on day 1 is relatively easy. It is a 2-hour uphill trek until you reach Kiswarani village for lunch. After lunch, continue for 2 hours to the campsite on the banks of a beautiful blue lake. Day 2: Blue Lagoon - Condor Pass - Cancha Cancha Village The second day is the longest and most challenging. After breakfast, set out on a 4-hour hike uphill to Condor Pass at 4700 meters, the highest point of your journey. After a break, descend for 3 hours through the breathtaking scenery to the second campsite at 3600 meters. Day 3: Campsite - Sacred Valley - Salineras Maras - Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu Pueblo Start day 3 with a beautiful view of the mountains and a delicious breakfast to prepare for the descent from the highlands into the sacred valley. Take some time to explore the ancient streets and the water channel that has been in use since Inca times. Have dinner in a local restaurant in Ollantaytambo before catching the 7:00 PM train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in a hotel. Day 4: Explore Machu Picchu - Return to Cusco On your final day, take the first buses to Machu Picchu and arrive as the sky brightens. You can watch the spectacular sunrise over Machu Picchu on a clear day. This is truly an unforgettable sight. Your guide will take you on a 2 to 3-hour comprehensive tour of the city before leaving you in Machu Picchu to explore on your own or climb either the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (tickets must be booked as far in advance as possible and are not included). After Machu Picchu, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, then take the Panoramic Vistadome train and bus back to Cusco. You will be met at the station and dropped off safely back at your hotel.

Take an alternative route to Machu Picchu from Cusco via the Lares Trail. Discover the local communities and admire the breathtaking scenery during the 4-day hike. Explore the Maras Salt Mines and Machu Picchu with your guide. Begin Day 1 with pickup at your hotel in Cusco, then drive for around 3 hours to the hot springs in Lares. Have breakfast upon arrival, then start the approximately 4-hour hike to Cuncani. Take a break for lunch, then continue to Kiswarani, where you’ll stay overnight. On Day 2, start the day with breakfast before taking a 4-hour to the Condor Pass at over 4,700 meters above sea level. Carry on hiking for another 2 hours until you have a lunch break, then hike for just 1 more hour to Cancha Cancha and rest for the day. After breakfast on Day 3, hike to the Sacred Valley, where transportation will be waiting for you to take you to the Maras Salt Mines. Once at the mines, explore an area that has been used to extract salt since the time of the Incas. From the mines, head to Ollantaytambo for lunch before taking the train to Aguas Calientes, the town closest to Machu Picchu. Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes, make your way to the hotel for an overnight rest. On Day 4, wake up early in the morning and take a bus to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour, then get some free time to explore this awe-inspiring place on your own. Head back to Aguas Calientes afterward, then take the train to Ollantaytambo before returning from there to Cusco.

Then the trail ascends gently following the Cancha Cancha River towards the community of the same name. We will have lunch at the halfway point. After lunch you will have time to explore the village and visit some local houses. Then it will be another two hours of gradual ascent and passing by the Rios waterfalls until we reach the campsite. Día 2: CANCHA CANCHA - PASO PACHACUTEC - QUISHUARANI. Day 1: El Callao Port Lima - Cusco Your adventure begins at 08:40, boarding your vehicle to drive towards Lima airport (30 minutes).  After arriving at the airport you will check-in and board your flight to Cusco, departing at 12:35. Upon arrival in Cusco (13:55) you will be met by your guide who will escort you in private to your hotel in Cusco. The rest of your day will be free for you to relax and enjoy this great city. No meals include. Day 2: Calca - Machu Picchu - Cusco. Leaving early in the morning you will be escorted to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes departing at 09:00am. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will meet your private guide and take the shuttle to climb the hill towards the marvellous citadel of Machu Picchu. Your guide will lead you through the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the royal houses, the Temple of the Three Windows and some cemeteries. In the afternoon, you will return to the train station and take the train to Ollantaytambo departing at 15:48. On your arrival in Ollantaytambo (17:29) you will be transferred in private to your hotel in Cusco. The rest of your day will be free for you to explore this great city. Breakfast include. Day 3: Cusco - Lima - San Martin Port. Today you will be met at your hotel at 05:50 for your transfer to the airport to board your return flight back to Lima departing at 07:00. Upon arrival in Lima airport (08:30), you will be transferred by private vehicle to San Martin Port (a 4-hour non-stop journey) to re-join your ship departing at 15:00. 

Day 1: Cusco– Lares – Huaca Wasi At 06:00 AM you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco in a tourist transport and headed to the sacred valley of the Incas, where you will arrive at the district of Calca, make a stop to visit the archaeological remains of Huamanmarca (Pre-Inca), You will observe the magnificent temples, streets and spectacular terraces, you will continue your trip to the Lares district. A breakfast with an impressive view of the snow-capped mountains will be waiting for you. Then you will visit the thermal baths of Lares, water of volcanic origin that is considered very good for health, then you will enjoy lunch. Finally we get ready and you will begin to walk for 3 hours, during your walk the guide will share information about the customs of the communities, you will also learn about the textile tradition, livestock and agriculture, etc. Along the way we will observe beautiful picturesque landscapes and alpacas. Upstairs we will go to Huaca Wasi (3770 meters above sea level), our first camp. Day 2: Huaca Wasi – Huaca Punk – Mantay – Yanahuara Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will continue your walk to Huacarpunku, from there you will appreciate the impressive views of waterfalls and lakes. After lunch you will have a short rest, then you will continue your walk to the Yanahuara base camp (3,400 meters above sea level), where you will spend the night. Day 3: Yanahuara – Yanahuara Viewpoint – Ollantaytambo For this day, you will wake up with a delicious breakfast and continue your walk with a descent along a beautiful trail. You will make a stop to learn the process of making "Chicha de Jora", and you will have the opportunity to taste this delicious drink, you will continue your walk until you reach the Yanahuara viewpoint where you will have a spectacular view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will continue with a descent until reaching the place where you will enjoy a delicious lunch, at this point you will say goodbye to your cooks and then take the tourist transportation and head to Ollantaytambo.
