Lisbon: 2-Hour Belém and the Golden Era Tour by Eco-Tuk

9. Lisbon: 2-Hour Belém and the Golden Era Tour by Eco-Tuk

The first highlights will be Chiado and Cais do Sodré. Chiado was once the center of intellectual life and today is one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in the city. You can see some of the most fascinating historical sites including the Convent and Church of Carmo, emblematic theaters, charming old bookshops, and major international brands.  Cais do Sodré was once a sordid quarter where brothels sidled up to sweaty clubs but suddenly it became the most vibrant neighborhood in town. It is now home to live music, burlesque shows, and great tapas bars and restaurants. Climb the hill to reach Príncipe Real, which is an area known for its antique style, glamour, and its beautiful Garden.   Arrive at Belém and discover the Golden Area. Here everything is magnanimous, historical, and sacred. It was from here that many of the great Portuguese explorers embarked on their dangerous and ambitious voyages. Here, you may get off the eco tuk-tuk to visit the Belém Tower, the Jerónimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries.

Perfect connections to explore Lisbon and some perks such as. For the observation tower/extract, which would cost €5.30, was free. Unfortunately, there is no discount for the castle excursion (entrance fee €10), but the view over Lisbon is worth it.

Very practical Lisbon card. We took her for 72 hours. Very easily amortized with transfers from the airport to the city center by metro, the use of public transport, certain entrances to the sites to be visited. So do not hesitate.

Guide was very knowledgeable. Answered our questions and still kept our 5 and 7year olds interested. Also GREAT food def put Lisbon on your list.

Remember to see if you still have to go through the museum ticket office to get the final ticket because on some sites it is necessary.

Allows you to take public transport and visit many places.
