  • Cairo: Egyptian Museum Skip-the-Line Ticket

    1. Cairo: Egyptian Museum Skip-the-Line Ticket

Avoid long ticket lines with skip-the-line entrance and spend more time inside the Egyptian Museum. Embark on a journey through the ancient Egyptian world in a museum boasting more than 120,000 objects and artifacts, some more than 5,000 years old. Upgrade your ticket to include a guided tour to get the most out of your visit. Upon arrival at the museum, skip the line and meet the local partner's representative at the entrance. Then, after receiving your ticket, either relish a day in the museum on your own or set off with your guide who will take you through every aspect of the museum and explain more about the place, as well as its valuable antiquities and artifacts. Don't miss the chance to admire King Tutankhamun’s famous death mask or the solid-gold mask. Get to see the mummies of Ramesses II and other items such as papyri, reliefs, funerary art, jewelry, and much more. By the end...

We waited outside the gates of the museum but the rep with the tickets was waiting inside, this could have been made clearer to us on the information provided. We didn't have a guide just used 'Skip the Line' which as it happened there was no queue (due to the lack of tourists because of the Coronavirus) but when there is a queue it would be well worth doing.

  • Cairo: Egyptian Museum & Khan El-Khalili Bazaar Tour

    2. Cairo: Egyptian Museum & Khan El-Khalili Bazaar Tour

Journey to the heart of the pharaohs' civilization in an air-conditioned car that will pick you up from your hotel. Arrive in style at Tahrir Square in front of the Egyptian Museum, a majestic building constructed in 1902. The ground floor contains colossal statues spanning thousands of years, arranged in chronological order. Take an informative and enlightening tour of the upper floor, marveling at smaller statues, fossils, paintings, sarcophagi and ancient Egypt maps. The famous Tut-Ench-Amun also has an exclusive section in the museum.  Before returning to your hotel stop by the vibrant colored market. The shops and bazaars display and sell a dizzying array of trinkets and artworks, giving you the chance to take home a small piece of Egyptian culture and civilization. Buy souvenirs for your friends or simply meander around the bustling shops. Your guide will then drop you off at you...

The museum was very very interesting. It would take days to see it all. Khan El-Khalili Basaar was a true experience. We have nothing like it in the USA. A must see.
