The Cairo private day tour will visit the Giza pyramids, Sphinx, the Citadel where you visit Mohamed Ali Mosque, Old Cairo and the Khan Khalili Bazaar.
What to Expect
At 8:00 be picked up from your hotel in Cairo by an expert tour guide, then transferred to Giza City by a private A/C vehicle to start your day tour visiting the Giza Pyramids. You'll see the Great Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is the Valley Temple, where the dead bodies were mummified and where you can get a close-up look at the Sphinx, a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren.

Visit Old Cairo, known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is smong the most important locations visited by the Holy Family where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still; though their stay was brief, for the Governor of what was then Fustat enraged by the tumbling down of idols at Jesus' approach sought to kill the Child. But they took shelter from his wrath in a cave above which, in later years, the Church of Abu Serga (St Sergious) was built. This, and the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. An air of piety and devotion pervades the whole district there. There you will be able to visit and Enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Lunch at a local restaurant is included in between visits, based on full meal for each person. Beverages are not included. Visit The Citadel, where you visit Mohamed Ali Mosque, known as The Alabaster Mosque. End your day tour with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold and antiques. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to Cairo airport.
