Paulasasamir is extraordinary. My friend passed out in the museum and he immediately took action and got him attention from the clinic located within the lobby. He stayed with us for more than 4 hours, made sure everything is fine, communicated with the doctor and followed up the entire evening at the hospital and the next morning. I have never met a tour guide this caring and genuinely concerned with the people in his care. He even managed to reassure me to take the tour whilst he ensure my friend was in good hands every 15 minutes. Astounding guide and person. Highly recommend him to everyone. GEM is extraordinary and a must visit. But I was too worried to really take it all in. I plan to return one day and certainly will do so to thank Paulasasamir.

Buyer beware. The museum itself is not only/ You will only see some giant statues of Ramess II and have a lecture which is interesting. There is also a few shops. This it self is not worth the money. However, our guide offered to take us to the coptic area of Cario which was very interesting and made the trip worthwhile

Excellent! GEM Docent along with guide, Paula, was filled with so much information. Some tours skim the surface - the professors, they are educational scholars; teach you a class in ANCIENT GODS! Wonderful experience. So happy I took the chance: greatly rewarded. ( Ive booked two other tours with this company )
